Bank Code
Taiwanese banks are identified by a 3-digit institution code assigned by the Financial Supervisory Commission. A 4-digit branch code is appended for a total 7-digit routing identifier. These codes are required for interbank transfers via the FISC network.

How BC works
The 3-digit bank code identifies the institution, and the 4-digit branch code identifies the specific branch. Together they route transactions through the FISC (Financial Information Service Co.) interbank network.
