How it works
The Costa Rican IBAN starts with "CR" followed by 2 check digits and an 18-digit BBAN consisting of a reserved "0", a 3-digit bank code, and a 14-digit account number. SINPE is the backbone of all electronic payments.
Where to find yours
In your online banking portal (Internet Banking), on your bank statement, or by requesting it at your branch. Most banks display the IBAN in their mobile apps.
