How IBAN works
The Egyptian IBAN starts with "EG" followed by 2 check digits and a 25-character Basic Bank Account Number (BBAN) consisting of a 4-digit bank code, 4-digit branch code, and a 17-digit account number.
Where to find yours
In your online banking portal, on your bank statement, or by contacting your branch directly. Most Egyptian banks display IBAN in their mobile apps.
