How it works
The NIT identifies the bank as a legal entity, while the account number (savings or checking) and account type are needed for transfers. ACH Colombia handles interbank clearing, and PSE enables real-time online payments.
Where to find yours
Your account number and bank name in your online banking app or bank statement. For business payments, the NIT is on the RUT certificate.
