CCI
The CCI (Código de Cuenta Interbancario) is a 20-digit standardized interbank account code used in Peru for all electronic fund transfers. Managed by the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP), it uniquely identifies a bank, branch, and account.

How it works
The first 3 digits identify the bank, digits 4–6 identify the branch or location, digits 7–18 are the account number, and digits 19–20 are check digits. The CCE (Cámara de Compensación Electrónica) processes interbank transfers.
Where to find yours
In your online banking app, on your bank statement, or by requesting it from your bank. Most Peruvian banks have a CCI lookup tool.

Good to know
Yape (by BCP) and Plin (multi-bank) are the most popular P2P payment apps — they use phone numbers, not CCI.
Key bank codes: 002 = BCP, 011 = BBVA, 003 = Interbank, 009 = Scotiabank.
CCI is different from your regular account number — always use CCI for interbank transfers.
