Bank Account Number
Bolivia uses bank account numbers for domestic transfers, processed by the SIPAV (Sistema de Pagos de Alto Valor) for high-value settlements and the ACH for retail payments. The Banco Central de Bolivia (BCB) oversees the payment infrastructure.

How SIPAV works
Each financial institution has a BCB-assigned code. Domestic transfers require the bank code and account number. The SIPAV handles large-value real-time gross settlement, while ACH-BOL processes low-value batch transfers including payroll and utility payments.
Where to find yours
In your online banking app, on your bank statement, or by visiting a branch. Many banks display your account number in their mobile applications.
