Bank & Branch Code
Singapore uses a 4-digit bank code and 3-digit branch code for domestic fund transfers through FAST (Fast And Secure Transfers) and GIRO. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) maintains the registry of bank codes.

How SWIFT works
The 4-digit bank code identifies the financial institution, and the 3-digit branch code identifies the specific branch. For PayNow transfers, mobile numbers or NRIC are used instead.
