BSP Bank Code
Philippine banks are identified by a 4-digit code assigned by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). These codes are used for interbank transfers through InstaPay (real-time) and PESONet (batch) electronic payment systems.

How BSP works
The 4-digit BSP code identifies the financial institution. All interbank transfers via InstaPay and PESONet require this code alongside the account number. The Philippine Clearing House Corporation (PCHC) manages the clearing infrastructure.
