Using the Slash Mobile App
Last updated June 2, 2026
Overview
The Slash mobile app lets you manage your business's finances from your phone. You can check balances, review transactions, move money, manage cards, upload receipts, receive account alerts, and access supported Slash products such as Global USD without needing to open the web dashboard.
The features you see in the app depend on your business entity, account type, product eligibility, and user role. If you do not see a feature mentioned in this article, confirm that you are using the latest version of the app and that your role has the required permissions.
Before you start
- Download or update the Slash mobile app from the App Store.
- Sign in with the same Slash account you use on the web dashboard.
- Have your two-factor authentication method ready if your account requires 2FA.
- Allow notifications if you want to receive transaction alerts, transfer updates, and account activity notifications on your phone.
Signing in and keeping your account secure
Slash supports secure mobile access with two-factor authentication, device verification, and biometric login where available. When you sign in from a new device, Slash may ask you to verify the login with a code sent by email or SMS.
If your device supports Face ID or another biometric authentication method, you can use it to sign in faster and switch between business entities more easily. You should only enable biometric login on devices you control.
View balances and transactions
Use the mobile app to check your account balances, review recent activity, and monitor transactions while you are away from your computer. If you manage more than one business or entity in Slash, switch to the correct entity before reviewing balances or taking action.
Search and filters can help you find specific transactions, cards, merchants, or account activity. This is useful when you need to confirm whether a payment posted, review spend by card, or look up details before attaching a receipt.
Move money from your phone
Eligible users can send and receive supported transfers from the mobile app, including ACH, domestic wires, international wires, real-time payments, and crypto transfers. Available payment methods depend on your account, location, product access, and recipient details.
You can also add funds on the go using supported funding methods, such as a connected bank account, wire transfer, or crypto deposit. Always review the recipient, amount, timing, and fees before confirming a transfer.
Manage cards and spending
The Slash mobile app gives you access to card controls when you need them quickly. Depending on your role, you can create virtual cards, view card details, review card transactions, and adjust spending controls from your phone.
- Create a virtual card for online purchases or vendor payments.
- Review card details and recent card activity.
- Set or update spending limits if your role has permission.
- Pause, close, or manage cards when supported by your card type and permissions.
Capture and attach receipts
Use the mobile app to capture receipts while they are still easy to find. After making a business purchase, open the relevant transaction and attach a photo or file of the receipt so your records stay complete for expense review, approvals, and accounting workflows.
If you are an employee, you may only see the cards and transactions available to your role. If you cannot find a transaction that needs a receipt, check that you are in the correct entity or ask an admin to confirm your permissions.
Use Global USD on mobile
If your business has access to Global USD, you can use the mobile app to check your Global USD balance, send supported payments, receive funds, and manage your account while you are on the go.
Supported Global USD actions may include sending payments by wire, ACH, or on-chain transfer, and receiving funds from supported platforms or counterparties. Availability depends on your Global USD account status and the payment rails enabled for your business.
Set up push notifications
Push notifications help you stay informed about important account activity without opening the app. Depending on your settings and role, Slash can notify you about transactions, transfers, card activity, account updates, and security events.
To receive push notifications, allow notifications for the Slash app in your device settings and confirm your notification preferences in Slash. If you are not receiving expected alerts, check both your device settings and your Slash notification settings.
Employee access and permissions
Team members see the cards, accounts, transactions, and actions available to their role. This keeps the mobile app focused on the information each person needs while protecting sensitive business data.
If you manage a team, review each user’s role and permissions before asking them to complete tasks in the app. If a user cannot view a card, transaction, approval, or account, an admin may need to update their access.
Troubleshooting
- A feature is missing: Update to the latest version of the app, switch to the correct entity, and confirm your role has permission to use that feature.
- You cannot sign in: Confirm your email, password, 2FA code, and device verification code. If you recently changed phones, you may need to re-verify your device.
- Notifications are not arriving: Check your phone’s notification settings and your Slash notification preferences.
- A transaction or transfer does not look right: Review the details in the app or web dashboard. If you still need help, contact Slash Support from the dashboard.
