Setting the Timezone for Your Transactions
Last updated March 21, 2026
Overview
Slash displays transaction timestamps based on your selected timezone. By default, this is set to match your browser or device's local timezone. You can adjust this setting so that all transactions across your dashboard (cards, transfers, and deposits) display in a consistent timezone that works best for your business.
This is especially useful if you operate across multiple time zones or need transactions to align with your accounting records.
How to Set Your Timezone
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
From your Slash dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Open Display Preferences
Select Display Preferences from the settings menu.
Step 3: Choose Your Timezone
Under Timezone, select your preferred timezone from the dropdown menu. You can also search for a specific city or region.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Click Save to apply your new timezone setting. All transaction timestamps across your dashboard will update to reflect your selection.
Additional Considerations
- Statements and exports: Downloaded statements and CSV exports will reflect your selected timezone.
- Team members: Each team member can set their own timezone preference. Your selection only affects your view.
- API timestamps: Timestamps returned by the Slash API are always in UTC, regardless of your dashboard setting.
