How to Check the Billing Address for Your Virtual Card
When making online purchases or signing up for subscriptions, merchants often require a billing address to verify your card. This article explains how to find the billing address associated with your Slash virtual card.
Overview
Your virtual card's billing address is the address on file for your Slash account. This is the address you provided during account setup and is used for billing verification (also known as AVS, or Address Verification System) when making purchases.
How to Find Your Card's Billing Address
Step 1: Navigate to Cards
From the Slash dashboard, click Cards in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Select Your Virtual Card
Click on the virtual card you want to check. This opens the card details view.
Step 3: View Card Details
Click View card details to reveal your card information. Your billing address is displayed alongside your card number, expiration date, and CVV.
Tips for Using Your Billing Address
When entering your billing address at checkout, make sure the address matches exactly what's shown in Slash—including abbreviations (e.g., "St" vs "Street") and apartment numbers. Mismatches can cause transactions to be declined.
If your billing address has changed, update your account address in Settings > Account to ensure it stays current.
