Using the Payments Dashboard
Last updated October 30, 2026
Overview
The Payments dashboard in Slash shows a running list of every payment that’s been requested, queued, scheduled, or sent. Card transactions don’t appear here. The dashboard covers payments sent over ACH, wires, stablecoins, and real-time payments.
The Payments dashboard also has the menu for configuring your organization’s payment policies, including:
- Payment approval controls
- ACH authorization rules
- Submission policies
Payment requests
The Payment requests panel lists every payment from your team that needs approval before it’s released. Owners and admins can approve or reject payments here. To see only the requests waiting on you, click the Needs your response quick filter in the top left.
Under each request’s approval status, a memo explains what your auto-approve or auto-reject rules will do if no one reviews the request by its deadline.
To review a request, click its row in the table. A sidebar opens with more details about the request and the option to add supporting documents. Click Approve or Reject at the bottom right. To approve or reject without opening the sidebar, use the action buttons on the right side of the row.
Queued payments
When you onboard a new vendor, you can attach their first payment to the vendor details request so it releases automatically once they submit their information. Slash calls these queued payments, and the second panel of the Payments dashboard lists all of them.
Queued payments have four statuses:
- Pending: The queued payment is approved for release, and either the vendor hasn’t submitted their information yet or the payment is in transit.
- Needs approval: An approver still needs to approve the queued payment. Once approved, its status changes to Pending.
- Settled: The queued payment was sent.
- Canceled: The queued payment wasn’t sent, either because an approver never approved it or because the request was canceled.
To learn how to create a queued payment, see How to Queue a Vendor Payment.
Upcoming payments
The Upcoming payments panel lists scheduled payments that are already approved, usually payments tied to bills with future due dates. Use it for cash flow planning, to see which payments are going out and for how much ahead of time, or to cancel an upcoming payment before it’s released.
Sent payments
The Sent payments panel lists every payment sent from your Slash account, giving you a full record of outgoing ACH, wire, stablecoin, and real-time payments. Click a payment’s row to open a sidebar with its full details.
