How to Send and Receive Cryptocurrency with Slash
Last updated May 22, 2026
Overview
Slash lets your business send and receive USDC and USDT directly from your dashboard, without managing an exchange account or handling manual crypto conversions.
Stablecoin transfers need to be enabled for your Slash account before you can use them. If they are not enabled yet, Slash will prompt you to complete the crypto application from the dashboard.
Sending Stablecoins from Your Slash Account
With Slash, you can send stablecoin payments to recipients with crypto wallet addresses. You choose the recipient, select Crypto as the payment method, enter the amount, and review the fees before confirming.
Step 1: Start a New Payment
From your Slash dashboard, click Move money and select Send money.
Step 2: Select or Add a Recipient
Choose an existing recipient, or add a new recipient with a crypto wallet address. For crypto recipients, you’ll need the wallet address and blockchain network. Some networks may also require a memo or tag.
Step 3: Choose Crypto as the Payment Method
If the recipient’s wallet supports stablecoin transfers, choose Crypto as the payment method.
Step 4: Enter Payment Details
Enter the transfer details:
- Choose the Slash account to pay from
- Enter the payment amount
- Choose USDC or USDT
- Select the transfer speed, if multiple speeds are available
- Choose the initiation date or schedule, if available
Slash shows the stablecoin amount and applicable fees before you submit the payment.
Step 5: Review and Confirm
Review the recipient, wallet address, network, amount, stablecoin, transfer speed, and fees. You may be asked to complete MFA or payment approval. Once confirmed, Slash initiates the transfer and you can track it in your Transfers or transaction history.
Receiving Stablecoin Deposits
Slash also gives your business deposit addresses for receiving USDC and USDT. Stablecoin deposits can be converted and credited to your Slash Business Checking account, or credited through your Global USD funding flow if you are using Global USD.
Step 1: Open Add Funds
From your Slash dashboard, click Move money and select Add funds.
Step 2: Select USDC / USDT
Choose USDC or USDT from the Add funds options. If crypto deposits are not active for your account yet, Slash will prompt you to start or continue the crypto application.
Step 3: Select the Account to Fund
Choose the Slash account you want to fund. If you have multiple accounts, the available currencies, rails, and networks update based on the account you select.
Step 4: Choose the Stablecoin
Select the stablecoin you want to receive, USDC or USDT. The dashboard shows any currency-level fees for the selected stablecoin.
Step 5: Choose a Payment Rail
Some accounts ask you to choose how the deposit should be credited after Slash receives and processes it. Options can include:
- Instant: Expected within minutes when available
- ACH: Expected within one business day
- Wire: Expected within 90 minutes during business hours
Step 6: Choose a Blockchain Network
Choose the network for the deposit. Slash only shows networks available for the selected account, stablecoin, and rail.
Supported networks include:
- Ethereum
- Solana
- Arbitrum
- Avalanche
- Polygon
- Optimism
- Base
- Stellar
If a memo or tag is shown, share it with the payer along with the wallet address.
Step 7: Copy the Wallet Address or QR Code
Slash displays the deposit address and QR code for your selected setup. Share these instructions with your payer and make sure they send:
- The correct stablecoin
- On the correct network
- To the exact address shown
- With any required memo or tag
Using the wrong asset, network, or memo can prevent the deposit from being credited.
Step 8: Track the Deposit
After the payer sends the stablecoin, Slash detects and processes the deposit. You can monitor the status from your Transfers or transaction history by using Block Explorer. Read more about tracking crypto transfers here.
