Former BB&T customers should verify that all direct deposits, recurring payments, and ACH transfers are using the correct Truist routing number. While some legacy routing numbers were preserved, others were changed during the conversion.

For wire transfers, Truist may use a different routing number than what is assigned for ACH. Always verify the appropriate routing number for each transaction type through Truist online banking or customer service.
