Supported Countries for Global USD

Overview
Global USD allows businesses and individuals to receive and send payments in USD globally using cryptocurrency infrastructure. Due to regulatory compliance requirements, there are geographic restrictions regarding where Global USD accounts can be opened.
Supported Regions
Global USD is available to entities incorporated in most countries worldwide. We support businesses and individuals in:
- North America — United States, Canada, Mexico
- Europe — All EU member states, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and most other European countries
- Asia-Pacific — Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and more
- Latin America — Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and most other Central/South American countries (except Venezuela)
- Middle East — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Israel, Jordan
- Africa — Most African nations (with some exceptions listed below)
Countries Not Supported
Due to regulatory requirements and sanctions, we cannot support Global USD accounts for entities or individuals in the following countries:
Tier 1: Prohibited Countries
These countries are fully blocked due to international sanctions:
- Cuba
- Iran
- Myanmar (Burma)
- North Korea
- Syria
Tier 2: Controlled Countries
These countries are blocked for Global USD account opening due to elevated risk:
- Afghanistan
- Algeria
- Bangladesh
- Belarus
- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Gaza Strip / West Bank (Palestinian Territories)
- Haiti
- Iraq
- Lebanon
- Libya
- Morocco
- Mozambique
- Nepal
- Nicaragua
- North Macedonia
- Pakistan
- Qatar
- Russia
- Somalia
- South Sudan
- Sudan
- Venezuela
- Yemen
Note on China: Chinese entities can onboard for Global USD via our Rail integration.
