How to Apply for the Slash Global USD Account
Last updated July 22, 2026
Overview
The Slash Global USD Account is designed for businesses incorporated outside the United States. It provides access to US account and routing numbers, supported crypto rails, and a USDSL-denominated balance. Slash Global Cards are also available through a separate application following Global USD account creation.
What You'll Need Before You Apply
To qualify for Global USD, your business must be legally incorporated in its country of formation (not in the US). Before starting your application, here are some materials you will need:
- Business information: Legal business name, date of incorporation, registered address, phone number, website, country of incorporation, industry, and a description of what your company does.
- Formation documents: Articles of incorporation or other official documents issued when your company was legally established.
- Proof of business address: Documentation verifying the physical location where your company operates, such as a utility bill, lease agreement, or government-issued business registration document.
- Beneficial owner and control person details: Full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email, phone number, ownership percentage, and role for every individual who owns 25% or more of the business, plus at least one controlling person.
- Government-issued ID and/or passport: Each beneficial owner must provide accepted government identification documents from his or her home country.
- Recent bank or credit card statements: Two recent statements from your previous financial provider. If you have not had a business account in your home country before, please submit statements from your personal accounts and detail in your application how those accounts have supported your business.
- Proof of operating activity: Documentation showing your business is active, such as recent invoices, signed contracts, or revenue statements.
How to Submit a Global USD Application
You can begin your Global USD application at slash.com by clicking the top right button labeled 'Get started.' You'll be asked to answer a few questions about your business before you are routed to Slash's general application page.
Important: When you select a country of incorporation outside the United States, your application will automatically default to Global USD.
From there:
- Enter your business information, upload formation documents and proof of business address, and add beneficial owners and control persons.
- Upload supporting documents, including bank or card statements, proof of operating activity, and any country- or industry-specific documents requested in the application.
- Review your application, accept the applicable Global USD terms, and submit it for review.
