Understanding your Payment Processing balance
Last updated September 18, 2026
Your Payment Processing balance shows what has settled, what is still processing, and what is being held to cover payment risk.
USD and EUR balances are tracked separately. Select the relevant currency when reviewing your balance or analytics.
Available balance
Your available balance contains settled funds that are ready to withdraw or use.
A successful customer payment may not become available immediately. The payment must complete processing and settlement first.
Pending balance
Your pending balance contains captured payment funds that are still being verified and settled. These funds cannot be withdrawn yet.
Select the pending portion of the balance to see the expected settlement schedule. Amounts are grouped by the date they are expected to become available.
Payments typically remain pending for 1–4 business days. Weekends, holidays, payment risk reviews, and processor delays can affect availability.
Reserve balance
Your reserve balance contains funds held temporarily to cover potential disputes, refunds, or other payment risk. Reserved funds are not available to withdraw.
The amount and duration of a reserve can depend on your account and processing activity. Funds move out of reserve when they are released or used to cover an eligible obligation.
Why your balance may differ from sales volume
Gross sales are not the same as available balance. Your balance may reflect:
- Payment-processing fees
- Full or partial refunds
- Disputes or chargebacks
- Reserve holds or releases
- Pending payments that have not settled
- Payouts or automatic sweeps
- Currency conversion, when applicable
Review the payment and payout details in the dashboard to understand how funds moved.
Contact Slash Support through the in-app chat if an expected settlement date has passed, the balance does not match your payment activity, or you see an unfamiliar reserve or adjustment.
