How to Deposit Checks with Slash Mobile Check Deposit
Last updated August 27, 2026
Slash Mobile Check Deposit lets eligible customers deposit checks into an eligible Slash checking account from the Slash mobile app. Only checks from U.S. banks are accepted.
Who can use Mobile Check Deposit?
Mobile Check Deposit is available only when the Check Deposit option appears in the Add Funds menu. You must also have an eligible Slash checking account for the same business entity. If the option does not appear, or the app says that no eligible deposit account is available, contact Slash Support at support@slash.com.
How to deposit a check
- Open the Slash mobile app and select Add Funds.
- Select Check Deposit. The app will request camera access so you can scan the check.
- Capture the front of the check. Make sure the entire check is visible and readable. You can retake the image if needed. The app also provides an option to upload an image from your photo library.
- Sign the back of the check and write: “For mobile deposit at Slash only.”
- Capture the back of the check. If the app cannot verify the signature or image, follow the prompt to sign or retake it.
- Review the front and back images, confirm the check amount, add an optional description, and choose the eligible Slash account where you want the funds deposited.
- Select Submit Deposit. Slash will review the check before the funds are added to your account.
When will the funds appear?
Funds typically appear 1–5 business days after review. Deposits made after business hours in Central Time are reviewed on the next business day.
Keep the original paper check for at least one week, until the deposit clears.
Troubleshooting
- Do not see the check deposit feature?: Email support@slash.com to have it manually enabled on your account.
- Invalid front image: Retake the front image and make sure the check is fully visible and readable.

- No eligible deposit account: Confirm that you are viewing the correct business entity, then contact Slash Support if you believe the message is incorrect.
- Camera access denied: Enable camera permission for the Slash app in your device settings and try again.
