How to Deposit Checks with Slash Mobile Check Deposit

Overview

Mobile Check Deposit lets you deposit checks into your Slash account from the mobile app. It's currently in beta and available by request only. Only checks from U.S. banks are accepted.

How to Deposit a Check

1. Open the Slash mobile app and tap Add Funds.
2. Tap Check Deposit. Allow camera access when asked.
3. Take a photo of the front of the check. Make sure the whole check is visible and readable. You can retake the photo or upload one from your photo library.
4. Sign the back of the check and write "For mobile deposit at Slash only."
5. Take a photo of the back. If the app can't read the signature or image, follow the prompt to fix it.
6. Review both photos, confirm the amount, add a description if you want, and choose the account for the deposit.
7. Tap Submit Deposit.

Slash reviews each check before adding the funds to your account.

When will funds land in my account?

Funds usually arrive 1 to 5 business days after review. Deposits made after business hours (Central Time) are reviewed the next business day.

Keep the paper check for at least one week, until the deposit clears.

Troubleshooting

• Invalid front image: Retake the photo with the whole check visible and readable.
• Back not signed: Sign the back, add the endorsement, and retake the photo.
• No eligible deposit account: Make sure you're viewing the right business entity.
• Camera access denied: Turn on camera access for the Slash app in your phone's settings.
