How to Apply for Slash Crypto

Overview

Slash Crypto lets you hold, send, and receive cryptocurrency alongside your Slash business banking. With a Slash Crypto account, you can fund your account using USDC or USDT, convert between USD and stablecoins, and send crypto to external wallets on multiple blockchain networks including Ethereum, Solana, Base, Polygon, and Tron.

Before you can use Slash Crypto, you'll need to complete a brief application and verification process. The fastest way to get started is through the Add Funds flow in your Slash dashboard — this is where you'll initiate your crypto application.

Eligibility

Slash Crypto is available to verified Slash business customers. To be eligible, you'll need:

• An approved Slash business account
• A business operating in an eligible industry
• Valid identification for beneficial owners and authorized signers

Notes: Some business types cannot be approved for Slash Crypto due to regulatory requirements.

How to Apply for Slash Crypto

Step 1: Start Your Application Through Add Funds

To begin your crypto application, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Slash account.
2. On the homepage, click Move Money.
3. Select Add Funds.
4. Choose USDC / USDT as your funding method.

If you haven't yet been approved for crypto, this will automatically launch the crypto application process.

Step 2: Review and Submit Your Application

The application will pre-fill information from your existing Slash account, including your business name, address, and registered agent details. Review your business details to make sure everything is current, and update any information that has changed.

You'll also need to provide information about anyone who owns 25% or more of the business, as well as at least one controlling person (such as a CEO, CFO, or managing member). This is a standard requirement for crypto compliance.

Once everything looks good, review the agreements, check all the required boxes, and submit your application for review.

Step 3: Monitor Your Email for Updates

The Slash team will review your application and notify you by email of any additional requirements or your approval status. Most applications are processed within a few minutes, though some may take 1–2 business days if additional review is required.

Respond promptly to any follow-up requests to expedite the process.

After You're Approved

Once approved, you'll have full access to Slash Crypto. From the Crypto page in your dashboard, you can:

• View your wallet address: Share this address to receive USDC and USDT directly into your Slash account
• Add funds: Deposit crypto from an external wallet or exchange
• Send crypto: Transfer stablecoins (USDC/USDT) to external addresses on supported networks
• Convert funds: Move between your USD balance and crypto holdings

Your crypto wallet is linked to your Slash entity, so all team members with appropriate permissions can view balances and initiate transactions based on their assigned roles.
