How to Withdraw Funds from Your Slash Treasury Account
Last updated March 21, 2026
Overview
Slash Treasury lets you earn competitive yield on your idle funds. When you need to access those funds, you can transfer them back to your Slash checking account at any time. This article explains how to withdraw funds from your Treasury account and what to expect during the settlement process.
How to Withdraw Funds from Treasury
Step 1: Navigate to Treasury
From your main dashboard, select the Treasury tab for your entity. You'll see your current Treasury balance and recent activity.
Step 2: Initiate a Transfer
Click Transfer or Withdraw and select the option to move funds from Treasury to your Slash checking account.
Step 3: Enter the Amount
Enter the amount you want to withdraw. You can transfer your full balance or a partial amount. There's no minimum withdrawal requirement.
Step 4: Confirm the Transfer
Review the transfer details and confirm. You'll see a confirmation screen with the expected settlement timeline.
Settlement Timing
Treasury withdrawals typically take 2-3 business days to settle into your Slash checking account. This is because Treasury funds are invested in a money market fund through our partner Atomic Invest, and withdrawals require liquidating those positions.
Once settled, the funds will appear in your available balance and can be used immediately for payments, transfers, or card transactions.
Additional Information
About Treasury Coverage
Unlike your Slash checking account (which has FDIC insurance through our partner banks), Treasury funds are covered by SIPC protection up to $500,000. Treasury is not a bank deposit; it's an investment in a money market fund that aims to provide yield while maintaining stability.
No Minimum Balance
There's no minimum balance requirement to maintain a Treasury account or to make withdrawals. You can withdraw any amount at any time.
Processing Days
Withdrawals initiated on weekends or bank holidays will begin processing on the next business day. The 2-3 business day settlement period starts once processing begins.
