Getting paid should be simple, no matter where your customers are or how they prefer to pay. With two new updates to Slash Invoicing, getting paid just got easier.
You can now accept invoice payments in cryptocurrency.⁴ When your customer pays with crypto, they can scan a QR code to connect their wallet and complete the payment. Funds settle in your Slash account within moments, and you can off-ramp to cash just like you always have.
You can also now schedule recurring invoices. We’ve added a dedicated dashboard for managing recurring invoices, introduced payment terms that appear directly on the invoice, and simplified the process of scheduling invoices to send at a later date.
Let Your Customers Pay Invoices With Crypto
When you enable crypto as a payment method on an invoice, your customer will see a “Pay with Crypto” option. After clicking it, they’ll see your wallet address and a QR code they can scan with their crypto wallet. From there, they can send stablecoins from any compatible wallet. Once the transaction confirms on-chain, funds settle directly into your Slash account within seconds.
This is especially useful for businesses with international clients. Instead of coordinating SWIFT wires across time zones and paying correspondent bank fees, your customer can pay in USDC or USDT for faster, lower-cost global payments.
Supported blockchains include:
- Ethereum
- Base
- Solana
- Avalanche
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
- Polygon
- Tron
Your customers can send stablecoins on any of these supported blockchains. A small fee applies when crypto is on- or off-ramped into your Slash account; you can choose to pass this fee on to your customers or cover it yourself.
Payments typically confirm within a few minutes. You’ll see them appear as pending in your dashboard right away, then update to completed once confirmed on-chain.
Schedule Recurring Invoices
Slash now gives you three options for sending invoices: send immediately, schedule for later, or set up recurring invoices. If you bill the same clients each month for retainers, subscriptions, rent, or similar services, you can create a recurring invoice once and let Slash handle the rest.
How it works
- In the invoice creation flow, navigate to the “Recurring” tab.
- Pick a start date. This is when the first invoice will be sent automatically.
- Select your payment terms so your customer knows exactly when payment is due. Options include Due on Receipt, Net 15, Net 30, and more, and they appear directly on the invoice.
- Choose your repetition schedule. You can send invoices weekly or monthly and set them to recur on a specific date or day of the week.
- Set end conditions. You can stop after a certain date, after a set number of invoices, or let the schedule run indefinitely.
To manage all your recurring invoices, there’s now a dedicated tab for them in the Invoicing dashboard view. Just click the button in the top right to view, manage, edit, or cancel any upcoming invoices.
The invoicing update is live now in your Slash dashboard. Create a new invoice to get started.
