Introducing: Scheduled & Recurring Transfers

Slash now lets you schedule future payments or set them to repeat automatically so nothing slips through the cracks.

Not every transfer needs to happen right now. And you shouldn’t need a spreadsheet, calendar deadlines, and your memory to remember when to make payments on time.

Now with Slash, you can schedule a payment ahead of time (for when a bill is due, a contractor finishes a job, or payroll kicks in). Or you can create a recurring payout: same vendor, same amount, same day of the week.

Schedule one-off payments and transfers in advance. Or set them to repeat on a custom schedule (weekly, biweekly, and monthly) with full control over start dates, end dates, and total number of payments.

What Are Scheduled & Recurring Transfers?

Scheduled and Recurring Transfers on Slash allow you to:

  • Pick a future date to send a payment
  • Set up recurring transfers to run automatically
  • Choose when they stop, like after X payments, on a specific date, or never

This unlocks a smoother, more reliable flow of money, especially when you’re managing multiple vendors, payouts, or timelines.

Why It Matters

Manual payments work when you’ve only got a few to make. But once you’re managing dozens of ongoing transfers and juggling due dates in your head or on a spreadsheet it’s a recipe for missed payments or wasted time.

This update brings structure to the chaos. You’ll never forget a transfer again. And your team won’t have to guess if a payment already went through.

How It Works

  1. Click “Send Money”
  2. Choose your recipient and payment method
  3. In the Payment Details step, select a future date or turn on “Recurring Payment”
  4. Choose your frequency: weekly, biweekly, or monthly
  5. Pick an end condition: by date, by # of payments, or indefinitely
  6. Review your schedule and hit “Schedule Payments”

The payment will now run automatically based on your rules.

Real-World Use Cases

  • Freelancer Payroll Pay your video editor $1,500 every other Friday
  • Permit Runner Payouts Schedule $100 to go out every Wednesday to your permitting vendor, for four weeks straight.
  • Ad Budget Disbursements Move $10K from your main account to a team’s virtual account on the 1st of every month.

Set It and Forget It

Scheduled and recurring transfers give you time back and make sure payments happen on time, every time.

To try it out, just head to Send Money, set your date or cadence, and Slash will take care of the rest.
