ACH Debits for Invoices on Slash

Slash invoicing now supports ACH debits, letting your customers authorize payments directly from their bank account.¹

Some of your customers may prefer bank payments over cards, whether to avoid card fees or because they're paying larger amounts. By including ACH debits as a payment directly on your invoices, Slash gives them that option without you needing to coordinate manual transfers.

How it works

Your customers can now connect their own bank account via Plaid to pay your invoice in just a few clicks. No card numbers, no manual transfers. Plaid handles the bank connection, so customers get a secure login flow that they're already familiar with.

What your customers see:

When they receive an invoice, “ACH debit” will appear as a payment option near the bottom. They connect their bank account through Plaid, accept the payment terms, and click pay. If everything checks out, they’ll see the invoice marked complete with the Slash approval stamp.

What you’ll see in the Slash dashboard:

When creating an invoice, you now have an option for "Direct ACH" in the payment details step. This is enabled by default on all new invoices, but you can choose to turn it off if you prefer. If you have “Direct ACH” enabled, you will have some additional options available: you can choose to cover the ACH processing fees, or choose to pass fees to the payer.

ACH debits can be used to collect payment right now on Slash. No additional setup needed.
