How Eragon Found a True Business Banking Partnership With Slash
“We want to work with the best companies of this AI era, and Slash is one of those for sure.”
Josh Sirota founded Eragon in 2024 to help companies travel from idea to IPO. With the help of a bespoke AI operating system, business owners and founders can use Eragon to automate data fetching and workflows without manual orchestration. As a reasoning engine, Eragon is a unified layer that not only connects your tools, but understands how you can get the best out of them.
As Josh built the Eragon platform, he began attracting attention from both growing companies and large enterprises. He quickly realized that juggling both finances and engineering as a solo founder would be a near-impossible task. That’s when he found Slash.
Staying Focused With a Lighter Load
“Building a company is a very exciting journey, but it’s also very challenging,” Josh said. “When we partnered with Slash, we knew that we were gonna be able to work together with a company that’s gonna help us along that journey as well.”
Slash works as the all-in-one provider for Eragon’s financial infrastructure. With the help of automated invoicing tools, streamlined global payments, and an integrated financial dashboard, Josh is able to easily manage his accounts and funds while staying focused on building the AI assistants of the future.¹
The Eragon team also takes advantage of the Slash Visa® Platinum Card, which automates expense categorization and offers up to 2% cash back on all business transactions.
“[When] working with Slash, all of the things that I would typically think about when it comes to a bank and when it comes to a credit card and when it comes to a treasury, they’re all taken care of for me. I don’t actually have to think about those things, which is incredible.”
The Importance of Community
In 2025, Slash held an event at San Francisco’s Chase Center for local founders to meet and network. As an early-stage company operating out of the Bay Area, Eragon was one of many startups that received an invite. When Josh and the team arrived, they found a business banking platform that could address their needs and help them grow. They also found a partnership.
“You really want to work together with companies that you can grow together with, and that’s what it felt like with Slash. They felt like a true partner… not only am I gonna get a world-class product, but I’m also gonna have world-class relationships.”
Eragon quickly grew from customer to collaborator. Early this year, Slash, Eragon, Delve, and Fondo took 40 local founders to Sonoma Raceway to race laps around the 2.5 mile circuit. Josh quipped, “We help growing companies operate just as fast as they can on a racetrack.”
Community events bring companies together in unexpected ways, especially on the West Coast. You can expect more collaboration from Slash and Eragon in the near future.
“We’re super excited about all the different events that we’re gonna be able to do together, where we can bring communities from early stage startups together and work on really innovative and interesting things,” Josh said.
Today, Slash helps Eragon’s team centralize their finances and keeps them armed for cross-border expansion with low-fee international payment rails. Check out slash.com/events to see what’s next.
