Switching Between Entities in Your Dashboard
Overview
If you manage multiple businesses or entities with Slash, you can easily switch between them from your dashboard. This lets you view balances, transactions, and settings for each entity without logging out and back in.
How to Switch Entities
Step 1: Open the entity switcher
In the top-left corner of your dashboard, click on your current entity name. This will open a dropdown menu showing all the entities you have access to.
Step 2: Select another entity
Click the name of the entity you want to switch to. The dashboard will refresh and display the selected entity's information.
Step 3: Confirm the switch
You'll see the new entity name displayed in the top-left corner. All sections of the dashboard—Home, Transactions, Cards, and Settings—will now reflect that entity's data.
Additional Considerations
- Permissions: Your access level may vary by entity. If you have Admin access on one entity but Viewer access on another, your available actions will change accordingly when you switch.
- Pending tasks: Switching entities won't disrupt any in-progress actions (like a transfer you're drafting), but make sure you've completed or saved your work before switching.
- Notifications: Notifications are entity-specific. When viewing a particular entity, you'll only see alerts and activity for that entity.
