When Proof of Address Is Required
Slash may request proof of address documentation in the following cases:
- Businesses: When there are conflicting address signals. For example, a company registered in a high-risk region but operating from a low-risk region, or if a control person resides in a high-risk region.
- As Needed: Slash may also request proof of address at any time for additional verification.
Document Guidelines
For Businesses
Your proof of address document must:
- Confirm your current operating address
- Be addressed to your business entity and issued within the last 90 days
- Show a physical address (no PO boxes or virtual addresses)
Accepted documents:
- Bank statement
- Utility bill
- Government-issued letter
- Office lease agreement (must be current, can be older than 90 days)
For Individuals
Your proof of address document must:
- Confirm your current residential address
- Be addressed to you and issued within the last 90 days
- Show a physical address (no PO boxes or virtual addresses)
Accepted documents:
- Bank statement
- Utility bill
- Government-issued letter
- Government-issued ID (issued within the last 90 days)
- Residential lease agreement (must be current, can be older than 90 days)
