How to Send and Receive Cryptocurrency Transfers with Slash

Overview

Slash Global USD accounts let you send and receive cryptocurrency using your connected wallet. You can deposit stablecoins (USDC and USDT) to fund your account, or withdraw USD to crypto wallets on supported blockchain networks.

Slash supports the following networks for crypto transfers:

• Ethereum
• Solana
• Base
• Polygon
• Tron

How to Send USD as Crypto (Off-Ramp)

You can convert USD in your Slash account to USDC or USDT and send it to any compatible wallet address.

Step 1: Navigate to Transfers

From your Global USD dashboard, click Send or go to the Transfers section.

Step 2: Select Cryptocurrency

Choose your destination wallet network (Ethereum, Solana, Base, Polygon, or Tron) and the stablecoin you want to send (USDC or USDT).

Step 3: Enter Transfer Details

Input the destination wallet address and the amount you want to send. Double-check that the wallet address is correct and supports the network you selected.

Step 4: Review and Confirm

Review the transfer details including any applicable fees, then confirm to initiate the transfer.

Processing Time

Crypto transfers typically complete within minutes once the on-chain transaction is confirmed. Confirmation times vary by network:

• Ethereum: ~12 minutes
• Solana: ~1 minute
• Base: ~2 minutes
• Polygon: ~2 minutes
• Tron: ~3 minutes

How to Receive Crypto Deposits (On-Ramp)

You can fund your Slash account by depositing USDC or USDT from an external wallet.

Step 1: Navigate to Add Funds

From your Global USD dashboard, click Add Funds and select Cryptocurrency.

Step 2: Select Network and Token

Choose the blockchain network and stablecoin (USDC or USDT) you want to deposit.

Step 3: Get Your Deposit Address

Copy your unique deposit address for the selected network. You can also scan the QR code if sending from a mobile wallet.

Step 4: Send from Your External Wallet

Using your external crypto wallet or exchange, send the stablecoin to your Slash deposit address. Ensure you're sending on the correct network.

Processing Time

Once your deposit is confirmed on-chain, the USD equivalent will be credited to your Slash account. This typically takes a few minutes depending on network congestion. You'll receive a notification when the deposit is complete.

Additional Features and Considerations

Instant Deposits

Eligible accounts can receive instant credit for crypto deposits while the underlying transaction settles. When enabled, you'll see your funds available immediately after initiating the deposit. Slash extends temporary 0% credit during the brief settlement period.

Fees

Crypto transfer fees vary based on your account tier and negotiated rates. Fees are displayed during the transfer confirmation step before you submit. Network gas fees are included in the displayed total.

Supported Stablecoins

• USDC: Available on Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Polygon
• USDT: Available on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Tron

Important Reminders

Always verify the wallet address and network before sending. Crypto transfers sent to the wrong address or network cannot be recovered. Slash does not have access to destination wallets and cannot reverse blockchain transactions.
