Last updated March 21, 2026
Overview
Slash partners with Slope to offer working capital financing directly within your Slash dashboard. Slope provides flexible, revenue-based credit lines that businesses can use to manage cash flow, fund growth initiatives, or cover operational expenses. Once connected, you can view your available credit, draw funds directly into your Slash account, and track outstanding balances without leaving the Slash platform.
What is Slope?
Slope is a fintech company that provides working capital financing to businesses. Unlike traditional loans, Slope offers revolving credit lines based on your business's performance. Key features include:
- Pre-approved credit lines: Get approved based on your business history and activity
- Flexible drawdowns: Access funds when you need them, up to your available credit limit
- Transparent pricing: Clear fee structures with no hidden charges
- Seamless integration: Funds deposit directly into your Slash account
Eligibility
To connect your Slope account to Slash, your business must:
- Have an active Slash business account in good standing
- Complete Slope's application process and receive approval
- Have a Capital permission enabled for your Slash account
How to Apply for Slope Financing
Step 1: Navigate to Capital
From your Slash dashboard, click on Capital in the left sidebar. If you don't see this option, your account may not have Capital permissions enabled. Contact support@slash.fi for assistance.
Step 2: Begin the Application
On the Capital landing page, click Apply for Capital or Get Started. This opens Slope's application portal in a new window.
Step 3: Complete the Slope Application
Follow Slope's prompts to provide the required business information. This typically includes business details, financial history, and identity verification. Slope may request read-only access to your financial accounts to assess your creditworthiness.
Step 4: Await Approval
Slope reviews your application, usually within 1–3 business days. You'll receive an email notification with the outcome. Your Slash Capital page will display your application status as "Pending" during review.
How to Connect Your Approved Slope Account
Once Slope approves your application, you'll need to link your Slope account to Slash to access your credit line.
Step 1: Return to Capital
Navigate back to Capital in your Slash dashboard. If approved, you'll see your pre-approved credit amount displayed.
Step 2: Connect Your Account
Click Connect Account or Link Slope. This launches Slope's secure linking flow.
Step 3: Authorize the Connection
Sign in to your Slope account (if prompted) and authorize Slash to access your credit information. This connection allows Slash to display your credit limit, available balance, and outstanding amounts.
Step 4: Confirm the Link
Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to Slash. Your Capital page now shows your connected Slope account with your available credit.
How to Draw Funds from Your Credit Line
After connecting your Slope account, you can request funds whenever you need them.
Step 1: Navigate to Capital
From your dashboard, click Capital to view your credit line details.
Step 2: Initiate a Drawdown
Click Draw Funds or Request Capital. A panel opens where you can specify the amount.
Step 3: Enter the Amount
Use the slider or type in the amount you'd like to draw, up to your available credit limit. The panel shows your remaining credit and any applicable fees.
Step 4: Select Destination Account
Choose which Slash subaccount should receive the funds. By default, funds go to your primary account.
Step 5: Confirm the Drawdown
Review the details and click Confirm. Funds typically appear in your Slash account within one business day.
Managing Your Slope Connection
Viewing Your Balance
Your Capital page displays:
- Total Credit: Your approved credit line amount
- Available Credit: How much you can still draw
- Outstanding Balance: The amount you currently owe
Tracking Drawdowns
All drawdowns appear in your Capital page's transaction history. You can see when each drawdown was initiated, the amount, and its status.
Repayment
Repayments are handled through Slope according to your agreed terms. Slash displays your outstanding balance, but repayment coordination happens directly with Slope. Visit the Slope portal at pay.slopepay.com to manage repayment schedules.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the Capital option in my sidebar
Capital may not be enabled for your account. Contact support@slash.fi to check your eligibility and request access.
My application is stuck on "Pending"
Slope typically reviews applications within 1–3 business days. If it's been longer, contact Slope directly through their portal or reach out to support@slash.fi.
My credit limit isn't updating
Slash syncs with Slope periodically. If you believe your limit should be higher, verify the amount in Slope's portal first, then contact support@slash.fi if the amounts don't match.
I can't complete the link flow
Ensure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge). Disable any ad blockers or popup blockers that might interfere with Slope's authentication window. If issues persist, try a different browser or device.
Security and Privacy
The connection between Slash and Slope uses secure, encrypted protocols. When you authorize the link:
- Slash can view your Slope credit information (limits, balances, drawdown history)
- Slash cannot initiate repayments or modify your Slope account settings
- Your Slope login credentials are never shared with Slash
- You can revoke access at any time through Slope's portal
