How to Pay a Slash Invoice
Overview
When a Slash customer sends you an invoice, you'll receive an email with a link to view and pay the invoice online. Slash invoices support multiple payment methods, so you can choose the option that works best for you.
This article walks through how to pay an invoice you've received from a Slash customer.
Payment Methods
Slash invoices support the following payment methods:
- Card: Pay with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- ACH: Pay directly from your bank account
- Crypto: Pay with supported cryptocurrencies
Available payment methods may vary depending on what the invoice sender has enabled.
How to Pay an Invoice
Step 1: Open the Invoice
Click the link in the invoice email you received, or enter the invoice URL directly in your browser. You'll see the invoice details including the amount due, due date, and line items.
Step 2: Review Invoice Details
Verify the invoice information including:
- Invoice amount and currency
- Due date
- Line item descriptions
- Sender's business information
Step 3: Select a Payment Method
Choose your preferred payment method from the available options. The sender may have enabled one or more methods for you to use.
Step 4: Enter Payment Information
Depending on your chosen method:
- Card: Enter your card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address
- ACH: Enter your bank routing number and account number, or connect via Plaid
- Crypto: Select your cryptocurrency and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer
Step 5: Confirm Payment
Review your payment details and click Pay to submit. You'll receive a confirmation email once your payment is processed.
Processing Times
- Card payments: Processed immediately
- ACH payments: Typically 1-3 business days
- Crypto payments: Varies by blockchain, typically a few minutes to an hour
