About the position
Slash.com is the only browser extension that lets you save instantly on every purchase at our partner brands— with one click you pay less. The "Buy with Slash" button magically appears allowing users to shop with a lowered (or "Slashed") price. Slash is based in the UK and is growing globally with partners like Booking.com, eBay, Udemy, AliExpress, Groupon, Microsoft, and more joining all the time.
We want to enhance our team and are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial product development. You will work with a highly motivated team of professional developers and QA engineers, product team, designers and marketologists. Together with the CTO, Head of Operations and Team Leads you will manage and build processes for our entire development team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of day-to-day and week-to-week processes: daily meetings, PBR, retrospectives, sprint planning
- Give and assign tasks to the team members, control the development process, and interact with FE/BE/QA departments
- Structure, and manage tasks in Jira, support the Gantt chart
- You will assist with the organization of long-term planning and create a roadmap for the dev team
- Provide new developers/engineers with onboarding support
- You will control the system of incident escalation: manage duties, interact with the Customer Support team
- Manage individual development units - teams, side projects with outsourcers
Goals for the future:
- A full build-out of demo-product process
- Preparation of stats from development sprints based on the time tracking and team member performance
- Automatization of interaction processes with the product and marketing teams
Experience and skills
- Have 3+ years of XP in product development management
- Understand Agile frameworks: when, how and what for, and when it is better not to
- Understand the way production works in high technology companies: you can tune it (or rebuild it) for the maximum process efficiency
- Are a master communicator and negotiator, able to find the balance between the business needs and a comfortable environment for developers
- Have superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
