About the position

We are looking for an experienced Payment Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.This position will require you to collaborate with merchants, banks, acquirers and networks to enable payments through our cards and increase the rate of successful purchases for our end-users on partnered stores.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of banking systems, payment acceptance and risks.

You must have demonstrated a solid ability to work independently and in partnership with all levels of an organization while building strong internal and external relationships (including vendors, networks, and regulators).

Responsibilities

Fix root causes and build scalable solutions to minimize the number of payment processing issues in the short, medium and long term

  • Monitor and track card acceptance and block rate; analyze these cases, and find opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with external partners – merchants, banks and acquirers – and team members to diagnose payment issues
  • Analyze and develops strategies for efficient chargeback disputes for greater economic return to Slash
  • Reviews chargeback disputes and creates disputing templates
  • Create and maintain fraud analysis & prevention models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company systems

Experience and skills

  • Experience with the online payments landscape across all participants issuer, merchant, acquirer and network
  • Knowledge of debit cards risk prevention methods and detection tools
  • Experience building, analysing, executing and changing complex business processes designed to solve important business problems
  • Flawless English skills, both speaking and writing

Bonus points:

  • Experience increasing card payment acceptance rate on the merchant side
  • Experience managing KYC, AML, Fraud-monitoring processes
